WHY ANALYSIS IS NECESSARY?
Use of fertilizers is an important factor to reach high quality and abundant yield in agricultural production. Fertilizers are applied to enrich the soil in terms of plant nutrition elements. Nevertheless, more fertilizer doesn’t mean more yield
Overdose of a fertilizer;
- sometimes may have a poison effect on the plant,
- will hinder the absorbtion of other plant nutrition elements by the plant,
- may reduce the quality and quantity of yield,
- will lead to environmental pollution,
- will have an adverse effect on human health,
- will result the waste of your money and foreign currency of our country.
Therefore, we have to apply the fertilizer the soil needs, in optimum time and amount, so that it will be helpful for the plant and economical for us. The best way to avoid applying overdozed fertilizers is to know the features of the soil and the amounts of nutrition elements in the soil.
Soil efficiency means adding the macro and micro elements which are deficient in the soil and reducing the ones which are too much. With this application, the balanced nutrition of the plant and consequently the increase in yield amount and quality are provided.
Fertilizing is the application of compounds containing one or more plant nutrition elements to the soil or straight to the plant itself in order to reach the yield and quality aimed in agricultural production.
Relevant, balanced and timely fertilization is only possible by establishing a fertilization program based on the analyses of soil, leaf and irrigation water. Agricultural production is insufficient and low quality when fertilizer application is more or less than the necessary amounts.
Illiterate fertilization reduces the yield and quality of your crop, leads to impairment of your soil and financial loss. Not to allow all these disadvantages, the questions we should ask ourselves are;
- Which fertilizer?
- In what percentage?
- When?
- How to apply?
The more the answers are known the more literate fertilization is possible. And the answers can be reached only by soil and foliar analyses.
As DOKTOLAB, we highly recommend you to have an analysis done in a licenced laboratory before plantation.
